Snettisham is an attractive historical village situated 2 miles from its own beach and RSPB nature reserve voted Norfolk's friendliest village. Offering the choice of 3 pubs (inc. award winning Rose & Crown) plus an excellent bistro and local shops all within 5 minute walking distance.
Snettisham is the ideal base for exploring and enjoying many famous attractions, local history and activities. To name a few: Sandringham, King’s Lynn, Holkham Hall, Nelsons birthplace and Castle Rising. The Victorian resort of Hunstanton is approx 4 miles away offering family entertainment and water sport facilties.
For the nature enthusiasts there is a abundance of beautiful beaches and coastal walks. The Wash being a bird watchers paradise with 3 major RSPB nature reserves nearby, Snettisham,Thornham and Titchwell.
For those that wish to venture further afield, there is Wells, Cromer, Norwich, Ely, Thetford Forest and the Norfolk Broads, all within approx 1 hours drive.
Also don’t forget for the sports enthusiast there is sea and coarse fishing plus an excellent public golf course and leisure centre nearby.
